Carissa's Kitty Cat 2nd Birthday

Here are a few pictures of the party before it started and some fun ones throughout!!! We did a Marie from "Disney's Aristocats" for her 2nd Birthday Party Theme:)

Carissa's Birthday Party Part 2

Mommy had so much fun making all the favors and decorations for Carissa's birthday party. It was a Marie Cat (from the Disney Aristocats movie) theme. They did not sell any partyware with this cat so almost everything had to be made...luckily I came up with some good ideas and had GaGa help with the birthday sign and favors. Carissa enjoyed making Kitty Cat Face Masks, Paper bag Kitty puppets and coloring with her friends. The best part was all the hershey kisses she was able to sneak off the table throughout the party....Happy Birthday Carissa.....Hope you enjoy being 2 yrs old!!!

All about the Cake!!

Carissa Spent most of her birthday riding her new bike around the house, playing games and eating pizza at Chuck E. Cheese and blowing out the candles on her very own mini birthday cake. We hope she had a special day and can't wait to celebrate her at her Kitty Birthday Party this weekend

The Birthday Girl on her Special Day

Carissa was so excited to turn 2 and she was even more excited to find a bike, baby doll high chair and tea set waiting for her on the morning of her birthday!!!! We celebrated her lots with a Birthday Dinner at Chuckie Cheese following by a little cake of her very own for dessert. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Carissa

Carissa Noelle Turns 2 Years Old

It is so hard to believe that Our Little Girl is already 2 years old. The time flies by and she grows more and more each day. She has so many new words and is finally starting to put 2-3 word phrases together....She love the potty and tries several times a day...usually she goes first then tells us she has to go but we are working hard.....Some of her favorite foods include broccoli, Juice, Treats, mac-n-cheese, cubed cheese, animal crackers, and really just about anything......rice, potatoes, fruits, veggies....she is not picky:) She LOVES kitty cats (Mawhs) and Baby dolls....Her new favorite is "Wo-Why" Snow White!!! She also loves color wonders and could spend all day coloring pictures...very unlike her older brother. She is our little princess and we love her all the same so Happy Birthday Sweet Girl...Can't wait to Celebrate you this weekend!!!

A Little Valentine's Surprise

Happy Valentines to all of Our Lovies out there!!! Mason and Carissa have really enjoyed making and sending Valentines to all the ones they love....they were equally surpised to find some little treats for them this morning on the living room play table. A little box of Chocolates from Mommy and Daddy, some really cool treats from GaGa and Pa and even some Valentines from friends we found in our mailbox. We enjoyed some heart shaped Blueberry Biscuits and are getting ready for Cari's 2nd Birthday in Just 3 days!!!! Happy Birthday today to Our Best GaGa in the world and Happy Birthday to Uncle JJ too!!!
Mason was super excited that Mommy surprised him this past weekend and he discovered a Cars Bed Tent on his bed when he went into his room:) GaGa and Pa bought it for him for Christmas and we knew Mason would have so much fun with it....It was sweet to see him curled up inside the tent last night when I went in to check on him before heading to bed!!! Monster Truck Jam

The kids had a superfun time taking the Lightrail uptown to watch the Monster Trucks at Time Warner Cable Arena. The Daddies made sure the kids had earphones to block the noise but awesome seats (thanks Lila's Daddy:) so they wouldn't miss a beat!!! What a fun trip for the kids!!! Mason could not stop talking about his favorite Monster Truck: Grave Digger!

Snow Play in February

Friday night we got some awesome fluffy snow....I think almost about 4 inches...The kids had the best time waking up to a snow covered yard and we had a sad attempt at making a snowman but hey...at least we got to play in it before it was all gone...It almost made it to dinnertime!!

Luau with the Larsons

Our friends Melissa and Tim invited us to a fun Luau at their church earlier this month. We all had a great time...the food was yummy and the Hula dancers were quite the entertainment. We ended the evening with an Adult game night and 2 exhausted Kiddies in bed!!! What a great idea for a nice tropical theme in the midst of Winter here in Charlotte. Thanks for the picture Melissa!!
