Carowinds in October

We love to go to Carowinds in October...the weather is cooler and lines for rides are more bearable....and the kids love the Halloween festival they do each year. Last weekend we headed there with our friends for another afternoon of pumpkin picking, foam pit playing, hay bale mazes and the scaredy cat comedy show. Sweet Abby almost got swallowed up by all those bubbles while Mason discovered a real Black Widow Spider in the Pumpkin Patch Area....yikes!!! We did have a good time and this always makes for another great end to the season at Carowinds Amusement Park!!!

Mason & Carissa's Cupcakes & Costumes Playdate 2010

The kids had such a fun time with our little costumes and cupcakes playdate yesterday...They decorated pumpkins, colored halloween pictures, ate some yummy cupcakes and definately enjoyed playing with all their friends.. The kids were so super cute in all their costumes and we can't wait to do this again in December at our Annual Kids Holiday Party:) So glad the rain held off to let all these little wild ones run off all the sugar we fed them:)

Howl O Fest at Carowinds 2010

What a Great Sunday afternoon in October at Carowinds with the Kids. They look forward to this festival every year. Mason can't get enough of the foam pits and hay mazes and Cari likes finding the pumpkins and trick or treating. The colored some fun pictures, watched a fun kids halloween show and enjoyed all the cool decorations at Howl O Fest today. The also had a bunch of fun Peanuts Characters walking around the visit with the kids and can't forget the visit with the Talking Peter the Pumpkin!!!! Hope we get in one more visit before Halloween:)

Apple Festival and Peach Farm

This past weekend we had another great day in York, South Carolina. We went to the annual Apple Festival with our Lifegroup friends. we rode the Hayride, Had Apple Cider Sipper and Slushies, Fed the Goats and Pigs, Listened to the Story Of Johnny Appleseed, and got to pick a pumpkin or some yummy apples to take home....We then headed over to Black's Peach Farm to enjoy a picnic lunch, see all the cool hay bale animals and go through the mazes. What a fun Saturday in October finished off with our Annual Neighborhood Octoberfest at the clubhouse....Mason had the best time doing the Velcro wall and Carissa loves the slides and bounce houses.
