Happy Turkey Day 2010

Happy Thanksgiving Day 2010...we are so thankful for all the wonderful blessings in our life. We are so lucky to have our family and friends share this special day with us each year.....Mason and Carissa loved having GaGa, Pa and Uncle Scott at our home. We ate lots of yummy turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, apple dumplings, rolls and pumpkin pie:) Mason and Carissa had so much fun basting the turkey, dressing like little Indians and playing with their friends....not to mention the 20 or so turkey cookies they managed to put down throughout the day:) Hoping 2011 has many more blessings to come!!!!!

Leaves are a Fall-in 2010

The kids always have the BEST time each year gathering all the leaves in a giant pile in the backyard and jumping for hours. They love to trow them at each other, bury themselves in them and the rake them back up again. We plan to keep this pile for as long as we can:) Mason is excited to play in the leaves with Pa next week when they come for Thanksgiving!!!

Lifegroup Dinner at Mama Ricottas

Us girls sure did enjoy a great girl's night out with some yummy food at Mama Ricottas... I was lucky enough to share lots of great company and some yummy deserts too while there....love these girls and all the great times together!!!!

Family Fun Festival At Forest Hill

Mason had a fun night with his friends at his school's annual Family Fall Fun Night. We had a picnic dinner, the kids dressed up in their best western attire and they performed some cute fall songs they have been working on in school. Mason did what we expected and lost focus of almost every song because of all his funny antics but he did work really hard to learn them as we have been hearing them in the car for awhile now...he is also getting really good at bible verses from school.....it amazes more more each day of all he knows!!!

Halloween Day 2010

We had the best time this year at the Harbin's Halloween Tailgate party and then headed off with our very large group of friends trick or treating in our neighborhood. Mason was lucky enough to ride with his friends in PT'S Parents Golf Cart all decked out in glow necklaces:) While Carissa ride in the wagon with Will around the neighborhood. These kids sure are getting fast at running from house to house.....their favorite candy this year is still Lollipops and tootsie Rolls....when will they learn the good stuff is the chocolate!!! Better the secret....better the leftover candy for us I guess!!! We sure had fun with GaGa this Halloween and are excited they will be back in less than 3 weeks for Thanksgiving!!!

Pumpkin Carving at The Galbraith House

The kids had fun with GaGa carving their pumpkins...Daddy helped Mason carve a monster on the front of the green pumpkin, Mommy helped Cari carve a jack o lantern face and Mason and Gaga had fun taking the guts and seeds out of the big orange pumpkin......of course Mason was intrigued with all the carving tools and had to be watched carefully:) They looked really good outside halloween night!!!! GaGa even made pumpkin seeds because Mason thought he liked them but a few days later he grabbed a bunch but wasn't the fan he proclaimed to be....maybe next year!!!

Trunk or Treat Night with The Larsons

We had such a fun night with our friends at their church Chili Cookoff and trunk or Treat Event. We got to taste lots of yummy chili, cornbreads and pies and then the kids got to go trick or treating out of the trunks of all the cars in the parking lot....they had so much fun and got to see some pretty fun halloween decorations.
