Christmas Morning at The Galbraith's House

Yikes!!! Christmas morning was super fun for the kids and almost a whirlwind for us.....I am hoping to post one picture of all the holiday surprises left by Santa just before the Chaos came running down the stairs:) Mason and Carissa both had so much fun opening presents, eating Mickey Waffles GaGa made with Mommy's new waffle iron, and playing the morning away. We are so thankful to be able to spend Christmas with our family in Charlotte this year and are so appreciative of all that we have been blessed with this year. Merry Christmas 2009 and looking forward to a wonderful New Year!!

Cookies for Santa

Well not so sure how many whole cookies actually made it to Santa's Belly this year but Mason and Carissa enjoyed setting out the milk and cookies, treating themselves to a little sampling and then anxiously awaiting Santa's Arrival... GaGa said Mason woke up many times throughout the night because he kept hearing jingle bells and reindeer prancing on the rooftop:)

A Dust of Reindeer Food

One of our favorite Christmas Eve Traditions is heading out to the front lawn to sprinkle the ground with Reindeer Food ( oats and glitter). This way Santa's reindeer will see the sparkle, smell the oats and find our home the night before Christmas. The kids had fun doing this right after our trip to McAdensville that evening to see all the lights. ChristmasTown was so pretty and it was warm enough outside that the kids could tour the town with the windows down:)

Kids Holiday Workshop 2009

This year we decided to do a little holiday workshop for some of the kids playgroup and school friends. It was such a great time:) The kids made xmas tree ornaments in one room, decorated gingerbread cookies in another and then headed outside to our favorite Grand-PA's Hot chocolate stand with marshmallows and candycanes!!! What better way to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus...Happy Holidays to all our Family and Friends...hope Santa is good to all the little boys and girls!

Merry Christmas from Our House to Yours

Many Holiday Blessing from the Galbraith Family!!!

3rd Annual Galbraith Cookie Exchange

My Favorite party of the Year is the Cookie Exchange and thankfully mom was in town this year and was a huge help in party planning. We made yummy sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies for the party. It was good food, good wine and good friends. Everybody left with lots of delicious cookies and I am still getting into the cookie trays...when will they just go away??? Thanks to all my friends and family who help make this get together so fun each year...can't wait til next year!!!

Kids Cookie Bake 2009

Mason and Carissa had lots of fun baking Sugar cookies this year. GaGa and Mason made sugar cookie dough and cut it into lots of holiday shapes...Both kids enjoyed shaking the sprinkles into their mouths, eating raw dough when mommy wasn't looking and admiring their hard work as these yummy fresh cookies came out of the oven...hopefully some of these will make it to Santa's Belly on Christmas Eve!!!
