Today we had a great brunch with our friends, The Froehlichs followed by an afternoon walk to the park....it is a beautiful day in Charlotte today....66 degrees in January!!! My hope for some snow is slowly fading away.....well see what this month has to offer.....I do love the mild winters here in the south but it is nice a few times each season to be able to play in the snow....at least the mountains are not too far away and we can always take the kids sking/tubing for a day...that may be a plan in our near future....until then, we will enjoy this great weather...Happy New Years 2012!!!
This year for her 4th Birthday Gaga and Pa got Carissa Ballet lessons at the YMCA. She was so sweet today with all the little girls in pink. The 1st half of class is ballet and the 2nd half is Tap. I think Cari really loves Tap...especially the noise she can make with her shoes:) She takes 6 months of lessons and then the recital is in June.....She is going to love being a ballerina:)
