A Day at Riverbanks Zoo
This weekend we decided to try and make a day trip to the beach but were so sad to find out one of our favorite spots: Folly Beach, is closed for the season and since it was too hard to plan a last minute trip to another beachside location, we packed up the kids and headed for the Zoo in Columbia,SC. It was a nice day and not too hot....The kids had alot of fun. Cari loved the stinky flamingos, Mason loved the reptile house and Ryder liked the Birds and tropical fish. There were a million people there today since its Memorial Weekend, even the giraffes had their fill of food, so we saw the animals, had some lunch at the Cayman Cafe and headed back to Charlotte....looking forward to the rest of our fun plans this long weekend:)

Backyard Water Play
It was so fun much to have some of our best friends over for a picnic and some sprinkler fun. Hard to believe the Larsons will be moving away in a few short months...I think I have pictures similar to these for every single summer for the past 5 years....sad that this will be the last of all the kids together:( They have grow up and in numbers thru the years and it is so sweet to see them play together. They had a yummy picnic, some fun in the sprinkler and of course a massive water squirter fight to complete their playdate. All the simple things that make being a kid so much fun, and Ryder was thrilled to joinin the fun this year!
Knights and Princesses Birthday Party
This weekend our friend, Gianna had the cutest Knights and Princesses Birthday Celebration at Lorenzo's Pizza. The weather was so nice for an outdoor party and Gianna's Mommy had so many cute and yummy princess treats. The kids got to color pictures, have sword fights, eat yummy cake and ice cream and enjoy celebrating their friend turn another year older. Happy Birthday to one of our favorite little princesses!!!

We finally got to enjoy a nice little picnic with our friends the Clarks and Mittens....The kids are getting so big and growing by the numbers. We headed to a fun picnic spot in Matthews by the Library where the kids got to eat, play and explore an old train. SO glad we were able to visit and catch up:) Love all these kids!!!
