PoolTime in the Backyard 2011

Mason and Carissa love to swim and splash around in the pool in our backyard....they fill their squirters, dump water on each other and love going down the slide together into the pool....thankfully we found a pool slightly deeper than the one we had last year to work for these growing little kiddies:) Carissa could go down the slide on her tummy into the water all day long and Mason could go non stop trying to squirt someone when they weren't looking!!! So glad the kids can spend alot of time out here....they then had a great picnic before naptime!!!! Tonight we are going to Movies in the Park again to see Despicible Me and enjoy some popcorn and Ice Cream while we sit Outside....love our family weekends!!!!

Planting Flowers for Mother's Day

Today was such a nice day for us...the kids and daddy made a really cute song for mommy complete with flower hats that had sweet messages on the petals. "Roses are red, Violets are Blue, Just look at our Petals because we love you!!!" They also went to Lowes and picked out lots of beautiful flowers. Mason said we need alot of them because we sure appreciate mom alot!!!! They did a great job planting and we then had a yummy dinner over in South Park at The California Pizza Kitchen......another happy mother's day with the best little kids ever!!! Love being a mommy!!!

Outdoor Movies at Stumptown Park

The kiddies had the best time last night when we took them to Stumptown Park in Matthews to see an outdoor movie. The kids were thrilled to see Toy Story 3 with their friends. They also had so much fun playing in the giant sandbox and the playground. The clown there made Mason and Cari some cool balloons animals. All the kids ate lots of popcorn and we made it through most of Toy Story...best gift of all was the kids sleeping in Mother's Day Morning!!!! Can't wait to see some more fun movies in the park this summer especially Yogi Bear and Tangled!!!!

Water Play in April 2011

The weather in Charlotte always turns so warm in April/May so its like getting 2 extra months of summer. I never remember April being swimsuit weather in Chicago when I grew up!!! My kids had so much fun yesterday outside playing in their little pool in the backyard. Big enough to splash in and fill their water squirters anyway. So thankful the summers are warm and Mason can go out to play each day....he LOVES the backyard and could stay out for hours!!! Carissa had a little trouble at first loading the water into the squirter but Mason is a good helper and she picked it up quickly!!! Both kids loved playing together in the backyard!!

The Galbraith Home:Easter Morning

We have so many Blessings to be thankful for this Easter Season and our kids had a wonderful morning searching for evidence that the easter bunny had visited our home. Carissa was thrilled that the bunny brought her Baby All Gone and Mason loved his foam glider airplanes, Tootsie Roll Bank and Marshmallow Peeps!!! Both kids loved finding eggs in the front yard and especially if they found a treat inside....some our sweet bunny left empty:) Mason is looking forward to making ice cream cones with his new playdoh maker too. After Church we had a great Easter Meal at The Larson's Home that consisted of some yummy ham, potatoes, rolls, strawberry and feta cheese salad and oreo truffle for dessert!!! We also got to enjoy a cute Bunny cake wishing Sophie a Happy 3rd Birthday!!!! Many Easter Blessings from our home to yours!!!!
