Congratulations Jordan and Liz on your engagement!!! What a fun Bridal Shower to celebrate you!!! Carissa had so much fun with all the girls sipping pink lemonade from fancy glasses and just about ate every pink candy in site....Hope you got lots of nice gifts to start your new life together and we are sure your wedding will be just beautiful....can't wait to see all the pictures!!!

It is so so hot out here that we can't help but find fun ways to keep cool this summer....the kids filled the pool, ate some freeze pops and had fun with Pa tossing water balloons around the backyard!!!! They then had lots of fun soaking Pa with tons of water from the pool...he didn't seem to mind it was 97 degrees here in Charlotte this past week!!!! So much fun...cant wait for some more water balloons soon!!!!!
We are so lucky to have such a great Pa...he came all the way to Charlotte to visit and while here, he put in new wood floors for us in the lower level of our home.....We love them so much and think they are so much better than all the cream colored carpet we had in here!!!! It was a tough job with lots of demo work and special cutting around all the doors but after 4 long days this floor project is done and looks great!!!! Thank You Thank You...Pa!!! Also, a big thanks for all of the other small fix-it projects that finally got done....that trip to Lowes with Pa and the kids was sure a long one but worth it to get all this stuff done!!! The kids already think their remote controlled spiders work much better on this floor!!!! Here are a few pictures from start to finish!!! We love you!!!
Mason has had so much fun this semester at The Little Gym....each week he was learning different gymnastics techniques, fun group activities and enjoying time with friends.....he did a great job at his end of the year performance last week and his little eyes lit up when he was presented with a gold medal by his teacher!!!! Such a fun way to lead into summer and gear him up for some summer camp in Chicago....so proud of his hard work!!!
Just a few fun Pictures of Carissa this past week getting ready to celebrate her brother's special day....so proud of him for graduating Preschool.....she is thrilled to start next year at Sharon baptist Church Preschool too!!!! Until then we are hoping both kids enjoy a little vacation bible school this summer after our trip home!!!
We can hardly believe that our little buddy Blake is already 1 yr old!!! Time sure does fly!!! We had a ton of fun celebrating him at the pool with a Chicago Cubs Birthday party....he was too cute and definately enjoyed his cake....the kids had so much fun splashing and it was a nice way to enjoy another hot Charlotte Weekend!!! So happy that we have such great friends and love getting together with them in life!!!
