Happy 4th of July 2011

The 4th of July was lots of fun this year...the kids loved playing with their cousins in the pool, having a yummy cookout and watching all the cool fireworks late at night...GaGa brought some yummy suckers and Auntie Val had lots of fun glowsticks to entertain them too...they also can never get enough of Uncle Bryan's Huge Tire Swing in the backyard!!! Happy Indepenence Day 2011....we are thankful for our freedom!!!!

Poolside fun in the Backyard

The pool on the deck was the best idea ever...the kids could keep cool and splash and we contained all at the same time....We loved the water fights and water balloon toss games with GaGa and pa and also loved splashing with Grandma Icenbice who came from Iowa for the night to visit. Mommy brought some water rings to float in and Mason and Carissa did a great job watering the flowers on the deck and squirting the neighbor boy Evan from one yard to the other...we love the pool and summertime!!!!!

Playdate with Sarah and Miles

Carissa had a great time at the park with our friend Missy's Kids, Sarah and Miles....each summer we are lucky enough to get in a playdate with them. This year we went to the park so the kids could play and then out to McDonalds for lunch....Since Mason was in camp this year we also made a trip to Plainfield to have dinner out with both our families at Chilis one evening. The kids are getting so big and love watching them play together....next summer we hope to get to play lots more:) So fun to see high school friends and watch our families continue to change and grow!!!

Happy Birthday to Our Pa

This year the kids decided it would be fun to surprise Pa with a pirate Birthday Party.....We had a yummy dinner at Buca Di Beppo the same night Daddy finally flew in after more than 3 weeks without him and then we came home to eat the best Atomic Birthday Cake Ever.....everyone had fun dressing up in pirate attire and Pa got to spend his birthday with his grandkids...the best present ever!!!!

Fun Times at GaGa and Pa's House

The kids had so much fun with their GaGa and Pa in Chicago....they played games, made resturants, rode their bikes all over and made lots of fun crafts. Mason even made a spooky skeleton suit one afternoon while they were at work. The kids sure do love going to their grandparents house....thank you for all the fun they had...Mason and Carissa both were in daycamp, Cari had cooking class, art class and Princess Camp while Mason loved the splash park and Magician Classes!!!! We have the Best GaGa and pa Ever!!!!!
