Mason's 7th Lego Birthday at Sports Connection

It is so very hard to believe that my sweet little boy is already a huge 7 years old.  Where did the time speed up so fast...I feel like I was just signing him up for kindergarten just the other day and now we are fast approaching 2nd grade.  He is such a smart and creative little guy.  Mason loves legos, reading about lego characters, bugs and sponge bob.  He likes to play his Nintendo DS that he got for Xmas this year and is really good at the Batman game.  He is an avid snail and beetle collector...he just caught a HUGE snail this afternoon after we got back from Adventure Landing(thank you Jaydon for the new bug net and tank) He is not insisting we get cabbage for his pet snail. 

 Mason had such a fun time bowling and playing laser tag with his friends at sports connection and he was really lucky to have his Uncle Scott here from Chicago to celebrate him with us!!  Ho gobbled his cupcakes and cake...I was so excited to find this cool Ninjago Cake on Google and even luckier to find someone that could make it for me....it turned out just like I had pictured:)  The kids loved making Lego creations at the tables while waiting to sing and eat cake. 

Spring Break Fun...Ryder turns 17 months old

This week we have done lots of fun stuff with the kids for spring break...we went to the movies and saw The Croods, had playdates with our friends, went to Adventure Landing to play mini-golf and ride go karts, and are getting ready for Uncle Scott to come visit for Mason's Birthday this weekend.  Mommy has worked hard to try to squeeze in fun stuff during the little guys naps.  I think that the go karts and golf were definately a favorite...both kids could not stop telling me how much fun they were having.....they even have gotten to go out and play alot of the afternoon this week as the weather has been high 60's low 70's...so awesome!!! So glad I got to spend this time with Mason and Carissa this week.  It has been such a treat for this mommy!!!!

Also, Ryder is turning 17 months old this week...he is learning TONS of new words....ball, brrrr...., Lego, snack, and on.  He loves playing outside running around, sword fighting with Mason, playing choo choo's with Carissa while gazing out the front window and putting Jack Jack's paci in his mouth.

New fav foods....fruit loops, grapes, lots of crackers, and applesauce.  Still on the fence with strawberries, bread and cheese.  Keeps tearing his paci's apart with his teeth so these may be gone as mommy is buying new ones every week and loves his music/picture projector in his room.  He loves to go bye bye and runs to get his shoes and heads to the door when we are leaving....he is always so happy....love this little kid!!!
