Birthday Fun at Monkey Joes

Mason and Carissa had lots of fun today at their friend Katherine's 3rd Birthday Party...It was at Monkey Joes so the kids released tons of energy climbing the inflatables and then of course refueling with cake and juice boxes. Lots of fun was had by all, Happy Birthday Katherine!!!

Carissa turns 16 Months Old

Carissa turns 16 mths this week and she is as cute as ever!!! She loves her babies and spends most days taking care of them.....today it was not too hot so she took her Baby Tessie on a Walk today...She had so much fun pushing her up and down the driveway. Cari is talking a LITTLE more now...Dah Dah...Up, On, are few new ones. Some favorite foods this month are mango, lima beans, rice and of course a Chocolate Chip Cookie! She has been loving the water this summer and we can't wait to see her enjoy all this summer has to offer!!

Happy Big 3-0 to our favorite Daddy in the whole world. We hope you had a great birthday weekend at the beach and enjoyed having over some friends on your big day for a little cake and ice cream. "I STINK" By Mason Galbraith

Yes....The "I Stink" book has become a favorite of Mason's...this book was given to him as a Birthday Gift from Auntie Vicki and Uncle John and little did we know the impact it would have in our household. Mason wakes up with it in his hands every morning and will not go to bed without it each night!!! The part that AMAZES US the most is that he has memorized it and can read it to us now....

Summertime 2009

It's definately gotten warm here...we are pretty much low's 90's daily now so the kids have been doing their best to keep cool....we play alot outside but it usually involves lots of water and when you mix a little boy into the equation a whole bunch of sand usually appears too!!! Little Mama is now running through the yard and keeps up with her big brother. Here are a few pictures from last week playing with friends and water fun!!

Our Beach Trip at Charleston SC

We finally got in our first beach trip of the summer and could not have had a better time. The beaches in Charleston SC are just beautiful and we had such a good time..The kids loved walking up and down the beaches finding sea shells and we even saw the dolphins jump right in front of us along the Marina....we can't wait until our next trip later this summer...wish we could have just stayed!!! I did a few posts below from our trip, just some favorites pictures from each day!!!

Our First Day on the Beach

The kids were so happy to finally see those ocean waves and could not believe they could dig anywhere they would like. They built sand castles and found sea shells alomost all day long. They both loved the water and especially when the waves would splash them.....we got alot of sun and really enjoyed the day.

Our Hotel by the Marina and Downtown

We were lucky enough to stay at a beautiful hotel that was right on the Marina...Mason loved walking the piers and checking out all the boats. We also had a great time in the evening walking around downtown Charleston at the Straw Market and enjoyed dinner at Bubba Gumps!!! The kids favorite part was the old fashioned candy shop where they each got a tasty rock candy lollipop!!!

Folly Beach at Charleston South Carolina

This was Day Two of our fun weekend at the beach...the kids loved the water and digging in the sand. They even loved sharing a few sandy cookies at lunch...we spent the morning checking out all the cool surf shops after a yummy buffet breakfast...then headed to the sand for a little more fun in the sun. We definately had a wonderful trip and did not want to leave!!!!

Dinner on the Deck with Daddy

Tonight the kids were so excited to eat dinner outside on the deck with their Daddy...He even filled up their pool once again for a little extra playtime before bed...Little did he know that Mason had a surprise of his own for Daddy!!!!

Our Backyard Beach Adventure

Mason sure does loves playing in the sand then taking a little dip in the pool to cool off....not quite the beach but still lots of fun!! It's so nice that he can go out there by himself now and play for a little while...our little boy is growing up so fast.
