Happy 34th Birthday Daddy

Whew...what a long week but we are happy that it ended with a fun visit with uncle scott and getting to celebrate Dad's birthday!!!  This morning we ate cake for breakfast and then packed up and went to uptown Charlotte for the Taste of Charlotte....Yummy Pizza, Pulled Pork, Mac and Cheese, Ice Cream and more!!! We then came back and the babies napped while daddy took Mason and Carissa to our neighborhood pool.  Can't believe we have had another fun year filled with lots of fun memories of our dad...he is one lucky guy to be celebrated today and then Father's Day is next weekend!

Carissa's End of the Year Preschool Picnic

 This past week we hosted Cari's Class Picnic at Pineville Lake Park.  We all brought a dish to share while the kids ran around playing at the park, doing chalk and bubbles and enjoying one last get together before everyone started their summer vacations/trips.  Carissa was thrilled to see her friends and we hope to see alot of them this summer....hoping after the move to schedule some more playdates.  Can't believe it will be another year before Ryder can attend Pleasant Hill, we will miss it until then!!!

Swimming at the Neighborhood Pool

We have loved this past year and having a pool in our neighborhood.  The kids have enjoyed it so much and we are looking forward to the cool pool in our new neighborhood too...did I mention we move in 7 days and I am still not at home packing...Mason is getting really good swimming but still can't go far and Carissa still struggles to not sink:)  Hoping to get in another round of lessons in June if possible.  Carissa even ran into her preschool classmate, Ethan at the pool.  Mason had fun playing catch with some older boys in the water too!!!  So thankful for this weather in South Carolina...it hasn't got unbearably hot out yet!!!

A Tea Party with Friends for Gianna's Birthday

Such a fun morning fun of princesses, tea and our Birthday Friend, Gianna.  The girls enjoyed dressing up, having a tea party and Carissa's Favorite...the Pinata:)  Gianna was so thrilled to wear her crown and sip her Tea.  Her mommy had lots of yummy finger foods and glass tea cups for the girls to eat and drink in her beautiful backyard.  Gianna is such a special girl and Cari was so glad to help her celebrate turning 5 years old.
