Boo at The Zoo 2014

So I wasn't sure we were going to make it this year to the Boo at the Zoo....October is always so busy and Columbia is about an hour and 15 minutes away from our house. We were suppose to head to Statesville to see the hot air balloon launch but I heard nothing but traffic and big crowds and not being able to take off due to wind conditions so after a nice long relaxing Sunday of going nowhere I popped online to see if tickets were still available for that night....There were probably because its a Sunday so got a few tickets and surprised the kids that evening.....everyone got a kick out of the boys milk and cookies costume....Ryder made it about half way through before wanting to take it off:)  We saw a magic show (Mason got to go up and be an assistant to the wizzard), saw a few animals (tigers, flamingos, monkeys, kangeroos and elephants) trick or treated at the candy stations, joined a dance party and roasted smores at the fire pits.....just enough fun to wear the kids out and travel in peace the rest of the drive home.....glad we got to go again even if it was last minute...looking forward to a fun filled week including our annual kids cupcakes and costumes party at the park and then Bakers Buzzin Spooky Gingerbread Houses Saturday and Sunday Trunk or Treat at Church...love this time of Year!!!!
