So its November and still pretty warm out but South Carolina is getting a bunch of rain this weekend which postponed our family pictures so I checked out the weather in the mountains and it looked clear. Cold but clear so we loaded the van up and headed there for the day to try and see whats left of the trees changing colors...We promised the kids playground time and ice cream so they were sold....2 hours later we were sky high with lots of pretty trees and the fall that almost skipped us over in the low country. We stopped by our fav vintage cars for some pictures checked our Crowders mountain state park before heading to Blowing Rock. We got some yummy fudge, ate lunch at Town Tavern and played the whole afternoon.....it was chilly so we had to improvise with the layered clothes we had leftover in our car. It was a nice drive home back to the rainy Fort Mill weather but definately not a wasted weekend!!!
