Happy 31st Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday to the Best Daddy ever!!! We were lucky enough this year to have a little guy that stepped up and planned his Dad's Birthday all by himself.....he told me he wanted to get Daddy and Basketball cake for his big day and when I asked him where he thought Daddy might like his bday dinner he replies "How bout the Basketball Course, that would be good" yep that's course not court:) So we planned to picnic on the basketball court that evening but the 93 degree weather steered us to Buca Di Beppo instead....however...after a yummy Italian Dinner we took Daddy to the "Basketball Course" to play a little one on one before heading home for baths and Cake time (yes, in that order). Mason got his dad some great presents this year that included his dad's favorites: "Doritos and Orange Rator-Gade" as Mason calls it (gatorade)!! He sure does know his daddy well....Happy Birthday hunny...we love you lots and lots!!!!

Cari & Sophie Splash Around

Yesterday we had Sophie over for a fun playdate and the girls loved running around the backyard together. They had so much fun sliding into the pool and playing on the climbers. It is so nice and relaxing to watch the girls play....boys seem to play a whole lot different!!! Here are a few fun pictures from these sweet little girls!!!!

My Little Model

Well to us anyway:) I love to dress my little girl and Carissa does not seem to mind much either...one of her first words(even before daddy) was BOW...yep, hairbow!!! Boomerang Bay Water Park Adventures

So goes our 1st annual trip to the waterpark this year and the kids were super duper excited!!! It was a hot 93 degrees today in Charlotte so we welcomed any chance to enjoy a nice splash of water. We got awesome seats in the kiddie section under a giant umbrella while the kids played....Cari was quite the adventurer this year as long as she could see and wave Hi to Mommy!!! Mason loves the water slides and the big mushrooms of water in Kucaburro Bay. Their favorite part of the entire day at the waterpark was getting to go to Icee Company to fill their gigantic slushie cups with lots of yummy flavors!!! Cari kept telling me "Momma, MY TURN" since we were sharing one and the boys had the other:) Looking forward to some more great times there this summer....next up Lazy River and Wave Pools!!!

Beach Birthday Bash at Will's House

This past weekend we celebrated our friend Will....what an amazing two years he has had and he sure is loving being 2!! Carrie and I had so much fun transforming his cake into a shark...it took quite the creative ability to pull that one off and a whole lotta frosting:). She did a awesome job making his birthday super special...I also got a chance to make these Marshmallow Pops I have been wanting to make(not as easy as I had thought)...but I think they turned out so stinkin cute....can't wait to make them for some more parties:) and of course I made some yummy truffles for her desert table with a little beach flair!!! (Thinking of starting a blog just to cover all my fun party stuff) well see....Happy 2nd Birthday Will...we love watching you grow:)

Lila and Hali's Hula Girl Birthday Party

This weekend we had so mush fun celebrating sweet Lila and Hali Woodman's Birthdays...They had a awesome Luau Party in their Backyard complete with a giant water slide, tons of fun Luau Decorations and an adorable Hula Girl Cake. Mason loved the water slide and got just a little muddy "hehehe" ....Wishing Lila and Hali a very happy 2nd and 4th Birthday!!!

Memorial Boat Ride on Lake Wylie

This past weekend we had such a fun boat ride with our Friends Thom, Mandy, and Ford. They just got a new pontoon boat so we took it out for the day on Lake Wylie. The kids had so much fun cruising around in the boat dancing to the music and they LOVED floating in the lake. We had a yummy picnic lunch and spotted some cool cranes nests in a tree. Thanks Captain Thom for a great day out on the boat:)
