Whew what a great and hot time this year at Carolina Panthers FanFest...every summer they host a free event to everyone in Charlotte to come and cheer on the Carolina Panthers right before the season starts. The gates open at 6:30pm and you can go watch the Topcat Cheerleaders perform and the Purrcussion Band Play as well as Sur Purr the team Mascot go around and throw gifts to the crowd. The the players come out and do drills and scrimmages for everyone to watch. It was super crowded waiting to get in but once we got to our awesome seats it was perfect....the food lines were long but the kids loved the buckets of popcorn and watching the Panthers. We didnt stay as late as the fireworks because the boys wouldnt make it that late plus the crowd leaving would have taken forever but we did stop on the way home at Red Robin for dinner so I would say it was a good night. Can't wait for Football season and some cooler weather to get here....Go Panthers!!!!

First Tee of Charlotte...Golf Camp Week for Mason and Carissa 2015
Mason and Carissa both had Gold Camp this week with The First Tee of Charlotte....It was a great time for them to learn putting, swinging and other aspects of playing golf. This was an awesome program. They take 45 children and split them into 4 groups and do different skills/activities each day. The last day they had popsicles on the course with their friends....I hope to have them participate again next summer at the Springfield Golf Club:)

Golf at Ballantyne Country Club Resort
We took the kids up to the Ballantyne Golf Resort yesterday to try out their new clubs and get them ready for Golf Camp at Springfield next week. The kids did awesome on the driving range and putting course. I was really impressed with how hard they tried and how well they behaved. Mason kept saying he was not looking forward to camp but after an hour on the driving Range he is now pretty excited for camp and seemed to like it....Carissa has a slow swing but hoping she will improve at camp. All the kids had fun and I think Daddy really liked this outing as well....it was 96 degrees out at 6pm so luckily they have awesome amenities and had cups and water set out for all the players in the grille/club house area. I sure do love these kiddos and am so lucky to take them to lots of fun things....hoping they someday can look back and see what a memorable childhood we tried so hard to create for them:) Even Ryder and Jack had fun putting and carrying the buckets of golf balls for us:)
