The weather was beautiful and its the start of a great memorial weekend here in South Carolina....we headed uptown around dinner time to walk around the green and check out Speed Street. The kids loved watching the jumping water at the Fish Fountains, playing in the inflatables, sampling products from local businesses and listening to bands on stage. They also had fun checking out lots of cool races car and this doggie obstacle course event they hosted. It wasn't quite as crowded on Friday as the rest of the weekend so we were lucky to go then:) The kids played virtual Nascar driving in some of the cars, saw some princesses and even mommy had a little taste of home as the VERY FIRST White Castle Food Truck appeared at the festival....we have a few Krystal Burgers down south but I have yet to see a back home favorite show up here:) Looking forward to the rest of our weekend and especially our first Low Country Boil Tonight at Katie Leonard's House.....Happy Memorial Weekend 2015!!
