Such great kiddos and a fun husband that agrees (after some convincing) that a day trip to Myrtle Beach is just what this family needed:) We have been so lucky to have a summer filled with lots of downtime at home during the week and fun trips all together on the weekends. The drive to Myrtle was 3 1/2 hours but it went really quick. We started our day cruising Broadway at the Beach...so many fun things to see and do. One of our favorites is lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. The kids had oodles of fun with these wax wiki stix that they creating all sorts of balls. glasses, bracelets etc. After that we headed to the beach to play in the sand for s few hours with our sqeaky sharks we picked up in the gift shop. Later we ate some yummy ice cream at Myrtles while watching the scary guys across the street at the haunted house attraction chase people out of the building with chain saws....this place is super spring break but still fun to see and do.....actually think we may try again next summer and do the shark aquairum again and some of the other cool attractions. Thankful for this time spent with my kids and hope for many more!
