Labor Day Parade and Matthews Alive

Labor Day Fun in Downtown Matthews. We have been so lucky to have this amazing neighboring town that puts on a great labor day parade and festival each year. This year we really lucked out, we got there early and set up our chairs and decided to walk around a bit to keep the boys busy.  So glad we did this we got to go into the carnival section an walk right onto rides with the kids. Carissa and Ryder loved the Motorcycles and Jack and Ryder were over the moon with car ride:) Mason tried to hold off for the bull ride but opted for a spin around ride instead. We got ice cream and had a blast watching the parade. When the parade ended the crowd set in so we hit up the kids craft area and then headed to Fuddruckers for lunch...It was a great way to spend a holiday weekend and love this community we have....even a lady came up to me while we were watching the parade and said "Hey I remeber you guys from last year, good to see you" wow!!! Did I mention the beautiful butterfly that accompanied Mason around the entire festival...so pretty!
