Tonight Carissa had her first soccer practice at Anne Spring's Greenway Sports Complex. She is on the 6&7 year old co-ed team. There are actually 5 girls and 4 boys on her team. Her coach was very good and really took the time to help her with her footing tonight. She learned how to plant her left foot and kick with the inside of her right foot. The kids pretty much just did foot drills tonight so they could better understand how to control the ball. She is super excited to play and she is really coming out of her shell...I watched her talk to almost every kid on her team and I think she is going to have a great season. Can't wait for her 1st game.
