This weekend is Charlotte's Big Nascar Race, the Coca Cola 600....they also host a festival uptown for all the visitors to check out.....Speed Street Charlotte has lots of local business's promoting, handing out samples and hosting games. We got to bounce in inflatables, sing with Mr. Nigel, sample cereal, pizza and smoothies, and even get our faces painted. Carissa got a cool dragonfly on her face and Mason got a skull tattoo on his arm. They also had a balloon maker their Ryder loved his purple doggie and jack got a little turtle. Carissa's flower and Mason's bear were a hit too....we stopped at Dean and Deluca for drinks and then got some Macs Speedshop BBQ on the way home....I guess we missed a huge hailstorm in South Carolina while only a half hour away in uptown Charlotte but we'll take it, we have a fun and busy Memorial weekend planned...let the fun begin.
