Stowe Dairy and Tree Farm

This past weekend with got to visit Santa and then head with our friends to Stowe Dairy and Tree Farm to cut our very 1st family tree down for the house. Mommy was a little nervous since I have always been so allergic to them but here we go......The weather was so nice and Brooke's family even joined us for some fun. We walked until we found a great tree....Mason got to use the hack saw with some help from Daddy they cut down our tree in no time at all...the girls even help haul it up to the top of the hill to be shook of needles and wrapped up:)  While we were waiting for our tree the kids played on the playground, took a hayride and had a great time.  Setting the tree up at home was not too bad either...we decided to put it in the bay window area of our kitchen and leave our artificial tree in the living room since it was already decorated!!!  Our real tree reminds me of the grinch..it is a cypress so its greened than the fraser fur but still nice....it is not a perfect tree but we are enjoying the multi colored lights that I normally would not put on it and with the help of some thick oven mitts I have been able to keep it watered so far:).  Looking forward to cutting one down each year if this one goes ok!!!
